Privacy
kisk has no ads or trackers, and needs no account. Most of what it keeps is public on purpose: the killmails, battles and census that kisk addons report from the game, and the gear the official armory shows. This page says what kisk keeps, who sees it, and how to have your character taken off.

Visiting the site
- Looking up a character asks the official Aion 2 armory for them. kisk keeps what it finds, their profile, titles, Daevanion boards and gear, and shows it to anyone who looks them up.
- While that gear is on its way, kisk holds your IP address, so one visitor can't have more than five characters in line at once, and deletes it when the gear arrives. kisk keeps no other record of your address.
- To find what's slow or broken, kisk keeps a record of one in ten of the requests it answers and of the things it does on its own, like posting in Discord, for 7 days. Each says what kisk asked its storage and the services it uses, like the armory and Discord, which can name a character or a Discord server, channel or member. A request's also says the address it was for, your browser and its language, and the country, city and network it came from, but not your IP address. kisk's own error messages are kept as long, and can name the same. Both are kept those 7 days even where this page says what they name is kept for less.
- Each page you open tells kisk.app it was opened, and kisk counts the view by the kind of page, like a character's gear or a battle, and nothing about who opened it.
- Picking a region or server in the search saves it in a cookie,
home, for 400 days, so the site opens there next time. Choosing the servers' clock on the timers page saves that in your browser. Neither is used for anything else. - Cloudflare hosts kisk. It handles every request, your IP address included, under its privacy policy, and gives kisk counts of visits. Character portraits and item pictures load from NCSOFT's servers, which see your IP address the same way.
Signing in
Signing in is only for claiming the characters you play. Clerk runs kisk's sign-in, under its privacy policy.
- You sign in with Discord, and Clerk keeps your Discord account's id, name, avatar and email. It keeps the browsers you're signed in on, with their IP address, and keeps you signed in with cookies.
- Clerk's script loads only for someone signed in, or once you press the button in the header's corner, so no one else's visit reaches Clerk.
- kisk keeps your Clerk user id beside each character you claim, and shows which characters you've claimed only to you. A character's pages say only whether someone has claimed it. While you're showing kisk a character is yours, it keeps the title the character wore when you started, for 10 minutes.
- When you open your characters or a claim page, kisk asks Clerk for your Discord user id, and the characters you've verified with
/verify-legionthat no one has claimed become yours. It keeps no copy of the id. - Give up a character with Not mine, under it on your characters' page. kisk keeps that you did, so a verification from before doesn't make it yours again. Delete your account under Manage account, in the menu under your avatar. That leaves kisk's record of which characters it claimed or gave up, which no longer leads to anyone, and contact@kisk.app can delete that too.
The addon
The addon runs on your PC. It reads the game's network traffic and the game's picture on your screen, and sends only these to kisk.app, each saying the addon's version:
- Killmails. When a player dies near you in a fight with the other faction in the open world: everyone in the fight, by name, server, legion and combat power, where each stood, every hit and heal in the minute before, and the victim's HP and every buff, debuff and crowd control on them. Killmails are public, at their own address and on each character's page, and kisk looks up everyone in them on the official armory. Your character is named on the killmails your addon saw, under "Seen by".
- The census. Each player who comes into view, and your own character: their name, server, class, gender, level, legion, combat power, wings and title. kisk keeps the latest of each character and when it first and last heard of them, not which addon told it, and shows them on the census, their legion's page and their character's page.
- Your gathers. Each gather you make: your character, the node, where and when, how it went, what it gave, and your gathering mastery and talents. kisk shows them only as counts.
- Your crafts. Each craft you make: your character, the recipe, when, how it went, and your crafting proficiencies. kisk shows them only as counts.
- Drops. Each monster a player kills near you: the monster, where and when it died, the server of the player who killed it, and what it dropped, with your character where you killed it or a drop was yours. Not who else killed it or whose else the drops were. kisk shows them only as counts.
- Your progression, only once you tick "Share progression": your titles, Genus Insight and pets, which anyone can see on your character's page. Untick it, or uninstall the addon, and the addon takes it down. If it can't, it stops showing 30 days after it was last shared. kisk keeps a hash of a key your addon makes, so no other addon can change it until 30 days after yours last did.
- A check for a newer version when it starts and every hour after, and the download of one.
While the addon runs, what it sends but the check for a newer version and its download also says the addon's id, a random number it makes the first time it runs, which kisk uses only to count how many addons report, and of which version. kisk keeps which ids reported each hour for 48 hours and each day for 35 days, apart from what they sent, and after that only how many there were each week.
The addon keeps its settings, your soul counts, its key, its id and a log of the gathering nodes it sees on your PC, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\kisk, and uninstalling it deletes them.
Players who don't use kisk
Addons report everyone they see, so kisk names players who have never used it: in killmails and battles, in the census, and in the battle reports kisk's Discord bot posts.
Taking your character off
Email contact@kisk.app with your character's name, server and region. We'll ask you to change your title in the game for a moment, to show the character is yours. kisk then deletes what it keeps of them but their name and server, which it keeps so that it never names or shows them anywhere on kisk again. Fights they were in stay, without their name.
The Discord app
/gearkeeps your Discord user id while it answers, 15 minutes at most./battles,/remindersand/calendarkeep the channel or Discord server they're for and what was picked for it, like the region and roles, until they're turned off or kisk's bot can no longer post there. They keep nothing of who set them up./verify-legionkeeps which character each verified member plays, their legion and the role it gave them, until the role comes off or they leave the server. Each time kisk gives or takes a role, it names the member and their character in the channel the server picked. A High Commander's claim is kept until a mod answers it, or for about a week./timers,/priceand/nyerkkeep nothing.
What kisk's bot posts stays in Discord, under Discord's privacy policy.
Who else gets it
kisk sells nothing. Cloudflare stores and serves what kisk keeps, NCSOFT's armory gets the names kisk looks up, aion2.exchange gets the items and servers kisk asks the prices of, Discord gets what kisk's bot posts, and Clerk gets what you sign in with. Anything public on kisk can be read by anyone, search engines included.
How long it's kept
Killmails, battles, the census, gathers, crafts, drops and gear are kept as a record of the game, until their character is taken off. Shared progression is kept until it's replaced or taken down, and stops showing 30 days after it was last shared. Taking it down deletes it, but kisk goes on keeping which character it was, the key's hash and when, so that no other addon can share them until 30 days after. A claim is kept until you give it up or someone else shows kisk the character is theirs, and that you gave one up is kept until you claim it again. Everything else is kept only as long as this page says above. Cloudflare keeps backups of kisk's storage for 30 days, so what kisk deletes is gone from them 30 days later.
Your rights
kisk keeps what addons report because a record of the game's fights and players is what it's for. You can ask what kisk keeps of your character, and have it corrected or deleted, at contact@kisk.app. If you're in the EU or the UK and aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
kisk isn't meant for children under 13, and doesn't knowingly keep anything about them.
